Time to check in and ask yourself this question. If the answer is not ok, then it is time for a self care tune up. Remember self care is not selfish, when we take care of ourselves it helps us cope and be there for others. A few ways to take care of yourself include getting enough sleep, managing and relieving stress and exercise, and please be silly and have fun. Do something different.


Self-care means taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health. When it comes to your mental health, self-care can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy.

Write your words and let them flow and attempt to free yourself from burdens. It is important to take care of yourself first. Treat yourself to a favorite snack once and a while to treat yourself (mine is snicker bars and coke) and celebrate all of your wins even the small ones.
