Stop and smell the roses. Life is soooo short find ways to make yourself happy and bring a smile to someone else's face. Start with a few small things.
Really find a rose and inhale the beautiful scent, walk around your neighborhood and say hello, look at kids or loved ones and thank God for them, treat yourself to your favorite dish, call a family member who needs someone to talk with and just listen. Take time and just breathe in and out that is a huge blessing we take for granted and look in the mirror and say I love YOU.

Stopping to smell the roses is an act of appreciation and recognizing the source of the goodness in our lives. It means taking time to recognize the daily moments that bring us joy and really seeing what causes that emotion.
Stopping to smell the roses, really literally, helps you slow down. You take time to enjoy the beauty of the roses and the scent can take you away to a calm state of mind. As you stop to literally smell the roses, you start to realize other areas in your life where you could slow down a little to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
